My Tough-to-Tell Story of Why, And The Start of a New Series
As I write this, I’ve been writing in Academy Success for a little over a year now.
I’ve published nearly 100 articles, recorded dozens of videos, compiled several specialized reports (including some of the industry’s top bloggers), just released a brand new upgraded design, and have even written a book on Amazon.
I’ve also been featured on nearly a dozen productivity and personal development sites, attracted hundreds of subscribers, and thousands of readers, many of which have reached out to me personally.
It’s all been a pretty cool experience, and I feel privileged to be able to make an impact on the world.
But still a lot of people ask me… Why?
I’m a young(ish) dude with the whole world ahead of me. Shouldn’t I be spending my time drinking beer, watching sports, chasing girls (sorry ladies, I’m taken), and making stupid decisions?
Why do I choose to spend my time on Academy Success?
Well here’s why…
Since I can remember, I’ve always had an obsession with being the best person I could be – with making more money, being more productive, being healthier, and overall, just finding a better way to live.
I’ve always believed that every person has a reason for being on this planet. And I believe mine is to help people with the very things I’ve been naturally gifted with an aptitude to learn and do.
I’ve spent the majority of my life reading, learning, traveling, training, and taking part in discussions that resulted in significant personal growth and gain.
It’s been a lot of work, but it’s also been pretty rewarding. But a lot of people haven’t had that luxury.
I just turned 30 and have done some pretty cool things. I’ve have written two books, graduated with an MBA, have a great job, am approaching a six figure income, have a gorgeous wife, and my future is quite clear to me.
Why Am I Telling You This?
I don’t say any of this to brag. I say this because you read Academy Success for a reason. You want to improve yourself and your lifestyle. And that’s awesome.
You see as much as I’ve been committed to improving, things haven’t always been so great. As you’ll find out over the next few days as I reveal more of my story to you, I was once on the verge of a self-deprecating meltdown.
But I made it.
I want you to know that if you learn the lessons I’ve learned, develop the habits I’ve developed, employ the productivity tactics I employ, and continue to improve yourself – no matter where you are in your life right now, you can achieve the success of your dreams.
I’m still playing out my dream, and always will be, and I want you to get there too.
A New Series Dedicated To Your Self Improvement
Over the next week I’m going to be revealing more and more of my story of self-improvement to you, including some pretty cool ups, and well as some pretty tough lows.
This series is designed to show you:
- The three biggest myths about being a high achieving individual
- How I once believed these myths and let them hold back my development
- How to alter your thinking to bust these myths like I did
- And how to open your own eyes up to a lifetime of self-improvement and success
By the end, it will be clear to you what is holding you back from being the person you want to be, and what you need to do in order to bust through those barriers.
This series is the biggest thing to hit Academy Success since day 1.
Keep an eye on your inbox. The series starts Tuesday, kicked off with an answer to the question at the top of my survey responses.
This will help you with the number one thing I can guarantee that every one of you struggle with.
Don’t miss it.
See you Tuesday.
