I’ve received all kinds of questions over the years about money and wealth creation, and quite a few more since opening my new course last week.
Some are totally legit, but some are silly, like…
- “I’m 46. Isn’t it too late for me?”
- “What if I have kids? Kids cost money.”
- “I have a house to pay for. I can’t save any money.”
Can you see what these people are doing?
Over the years since I’ve been selling online courses, I’ve taken note of a strange phenomenon.
It never fails. When I open a course, people ask question after question, each one sillier than the next, until I finally run into a situation where I have to say “No, this course isn’t right for you.”
Then they’re like “I KNEW IT WOULDN’T WORK!! HAHAHAHAHA!!”
Ugh…
Many of These Questions are Excuses In Disguise
These kinds of people are doing one thing – looking for an excuse not to take action, and because of this, they will remain the same as they are now.
They’ll come up with any way to categorize themselves as “different” than everyone else so they can protect themselves from having to change.
This is hugely limiting behavior for personal development. Please don’t let this be you.
It sounds really silly on the surface, but the fact is, we all do this on some level. We are all looking for a way to relate the situation we are about to get into to someone similar to has already had success in that situation.
I can’t fault you for doing research. Just don’t limit yourself because you’re just a little bit scared to change.
If you’re still reading, you’re obviously interested in improving yourself, and that opportunity is right in front of you.
Is 401k Millionaire Right For You?
The initial enrollment period, including special launch pricing and promotional bonuses, is open until September 28th at 11:59pm EST.
If you’re wondering if 401k Millionaire is right for you (or actually just any kind of investing in general), consider the following situations (excuses), and if your specific situation isn’t answered, email me and we’ll talk.
“What if I have kids?”
This is all the more reason to invest your money.
Yes, you have the expenses of children, but you also need to think even more about your future, because you don’t want your financial burden to land on your kids, and you also want to have something left over to help them out in their future.
All it takes is a few simple adjustments that I’ll show you in the course, and you’ll be able to save enough to make a huge difference for you, and them – without even noticing the impact on your day to day lifestyle.

“What if I don’t know anything about stocks / investing?”
It’s not necessary to be an expert investor to manage a basic retirement plan.
In fact, it can even work to your advantage because you won’t be tempted to tweak things over and over. They’re actually built to reduce your risk by allowing you to make simple investment choices, and invest in funds that are already diversified.
I’ll also walk you through the different types of investments you can make, and teach you how to do research on your funds so you know what you’re getting into before you invest.

“My company already handles my 401k for me.”
Some companies have money managers that handle 401ks, but these money mangers have NO IDEA what your personal financial situation is and they are only allowed to set up very basic options for people – called your default options.
If you want to go beyond the basic options of your 401k, which will definitely not make you wealthy, then you need to take control of your money.
Otherwise you have no excuse when you do not achieve your goals.

“What if my company doesn’t offer a match?”
An employer match is awesome, but it’s not the end of the world if your company doesn’t offer one right now.
You still need to save and invest for your future. Odds are you’ll get a match in the future, and at that point, you’ll just have that much better of a head start.

“What if I don’t have any extra money?”
Save first. Spend second. That’s an investment strategy for the ages, regardless of your type of retirement plan.
In addition to the 401k strategies I’ll teach you in the course, I’ll also help you reduce your expenses, and increase your income.
This added bonus will help you free up money so you can invest in your 401k.
From there I’ll teach you how to automate your investments so you never have to worry about getting into that situation again.

“What if I am (20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, insert age here)?”
Starting young is an incredible advantage with a 401k. It allows you to build up your nest egg and take advantage of the snowball effect of investing much earlier in life.
But even if you’re older, say in your late 30s or 40s, you still need something to live on when you retire.
Age doesn’t matter for your choice to invest or not. The answer to that questions is always yes. The question you need to ask is “how to invest” based on your level of risk, and I’ll answer that for you in the course.

“What if am going to change jobs soon?”
Any money you invest in your 401k is yours to keep.
You simply have to roll it into your new 401k plan, or roll it over into an IRA plan. It’s 100% yours and no one can take it away from you (not even creditors because 401ks are creditor protected).
The only thing that you might have to wait on is your employer matched money and profit sharing. That will need to undergo a vesting period, usually 6 months to a few years.

“What if I don’t have a 401k?”
If you don’t have a 401k right now, then I urge you to get one. 401k Millionaire will likely the inspiration you need in order to do so.
You won’t be able to follow the action plans to set up your 401k until you get one, but you will be inspired to seek our employers with great 401k plans, and you’ll also learn quite a bit about money management in the process.
If you invest in 401k Millionaire during the current bonus period, you’ll get a bonus that will show you how to do this (more on that in a couple of days).
If this is the case for you, I recommend you pick up the eBook option, and upgrade to the Audio or Video course when you finally get your 401k.

“How is 401k Millionaire different from all of the other 401k courses?”
Simply put, 401k Millionaire offers action based, step-by-step guidance to produce a specific result, to get you to completely set up your 401k.
While other courses just teach you the ins and outs and facts of a 401k, this course walks you through the exact steps to take during each lesson in order to set up your 401k for millions.
No other course offers you that kind of immediate result.

“I just don’t have a lot of time right now…”
Understandable. We all have a lot going on, but I can almost guarantee the older you get, the busier you will be. Take it from someone who has been there.
Can you carve out 20-30 minutes a few days per week? Each lesson in the course is broken up into very small chunks. No video is over 15 minutes long, and the action steps will only take you 10-15 minutes each.
If you can sit down for 20-30 minutes just a few days per week, you can be through the course and all of it’s actions in under 30 days, and have your 401k set up for success.

“Isn’t it a bad time to invest?”
401ks are not about today, tomorrow, this week, or this month. They’re a long-term investment vehicle designed to make money over the course of 30+ years.
If the market is down, it’s a GREAT time to invest, because you can invest at a discount, and make up a lot of ground very quickly.
If the market is up, well, if you think it’s high now, just wait until 5 years from now. You’ll be punching yourself for not investing now.

“But won’t I have less money to spend if I save money?”
At first, you might feel a small financial pinch, but eventually you will get used to your new spending habits (typically about 1-2 months), and I’ll teach you how to lower your expenses and increase your income so you will have more money to save, and spend.
401k Millionaire is not just about 401ks. It’s about responsible money management.

“What if I have a 403b plan, or IRA?”
This is a great question. While 401k Millionaire was designed for 401ks in terms of specific tax education, the money management concepts in the course will still apply to essentially any type of retirement plan that you can manage.
If you find an option tailored specifically to your type of plan, I recommend you pick that up. If not, 401k Millionaire will still provide a lot of value for you.
