“Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to.”
– Lao Tzu
This is one of the best quotes I’ve ever read about time. What it basically means is, we all have the same 24 hours each day.
What we choose to do with those hours is what makes us the person we are. Time is the ultimate equalizer. What we do with it and how effectively we use it it what separates us from the rest of the crowd.
For a person to say “I don’t have enough time” is the same thing as saying “It’s not important enough to me to accomplish.”
As the one and only ShoeMoney says in his new book, Nothing’s Changed But My Change (hilarious and very insightful book by the way), “You either want it, or you don’t.”
It really is that simple. To complicate things more than that, just means you need to get out of your own way, and free yourself to be successful.
If you really want to accomplish something, you will find a way. And you’ll need to learn how to free up time in your life in order to do so.
Here are a few links to help you with that, as promised in the video above.
And yes I know, before you say it, I think I need one more light 🙂
